Having spent his youth as a lead guitarist in a professional rock band, Brent opened for several large acts including ZZ Top, and doing a record. Though he didn't attend college, Brent has been passionate about supporting education with significant contributions to UVU, Provo School District, and several other educational causes including his service on the Utah State Board of Regents. ![]() He graduated from Brighton High School in 1977. Among them, Mary Bufton's iconic wedding gown, gracing the cover of Nancy's forthcoming book, awaits to mesmerize audiences. Following in the footsteps of Janet Arnold to admiring styles-of-the-time garments in London, Nancy has meticulously crafted 35–40 dresses spanning from the 1700s to 1954. Styled after the opulence of the 18th century, this exhibition promises to be a fitting conclusion to Nancy's legacy of bringing historical fashion to life. This captivating showcase marks the culmination of Nancy's illustrious journey, which has seen numerous exhibitions and tours across the United States and England, guided by the insightful retired curator Althea MacKenzie.
